Jeremiah Bozeman enters his second season with UAPB now as an assistant coach, after served as the Director of Operation in 2022-23. Jeremiah plays a significant role in the masterpiece of the Golden Lions vision. "Jeremiah is an exceptional coach with a brilliant strategic mind," said head coach Solomon Bozeman. His significant contributions have been instrumental in our recruiting success.
Among many responsibilities, Bozeman is directly involved with game scheduling, team travel, practice preparation, and facilities operations. He will also work closely as a liaison to the sports medicine office and all other departments on post.
He comes to the Institute by way of Auburn University at Montgomery, where he played his senior year after graduating from Jackson St. in three years. In his final year of 2021-22, Bozeman led the Gulf South conference in steals per game, and total steals while finishing in the top 15 in five separate categories (points, rebounds, steals, minutes, and FT percentage). He was named GSC Player of the Week and selected as a member of the GSC All-Academic Team.

Solomon Bozeman said. "He has gained valuable experience playing as a student-athlete and coming from a basketball family. Jeremiah has a tremendous work ethic and has a very bright future in coaching. He will be a tremendous asset to our program and the UAPB community."
Bozeman began his basketball career at Jackson St. University where he worked his way into the starting point guard role as a red-shirt freshman and was named team captain in his sophomore year (2018-19).
Bozeman received his degree from JSU in Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy and receiving his master in Education specializing in Exercise Science from AUM.
