PINE BLUFF, AR — The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's soccer team has announced its 2025 schedule, entering the second season under head coach Jayme Selph with growing confidence and momentum. The Lady Lions will host a strong mix of conference and non-conference opponents at Pumphrey Soccer Complex, while also testing themselves on the road throughout the region.

UAPB opens its fall campaign on Friday, August 15, with an exhibition at home against Williams Baptist University, followed by the official season opener on Sunday, August 17, when they host in-state rival Arkansas Little Rock. The early homestand gives the Lady Lions a chance to showcase their development in front of home fans as they look to build early-season rhythm.

A unique matchup awaits on Friday, August 22, when UAPB faces Lyon College at Burns Park in Little Rock. It will be a neutral-site showcase that brings the Lady Lions into the capital city for a special in-state battle. Just four days later, on Tuesday, August 26, UAPB faces Hampton University, with the game being held at Grambling State in Louisiana.

The non-conference slate continues with a matchup against Central Baptist College on Thursday, August 28 in Conway, followed by two tough road tests: a game at Central Arkansas on Thursday, September 4, and another away fixture at Arkansas State on Sunday, September 7.

The Lady Lions return to Pumphrey on Monday, September 15, to host Harding University, rounding out the non-conference schedule with a key regional opponent before turning full attention to SWAC play.

Conference action begins on the road with a two-game swing: Friday, September 26, at Mississippi Valley State, and Sunday, September 28, at Alcorn State. Then, the Lady Lions return home for a critical two-game stretch, hosting Jackson State on Friday, October 10, and Southern University on Sunday, October 12—both pivotal in shaping the SWAC standings.

UAPB then heads back on the road for a Texas doubleheader, facing Prairie View A&M on Friday, October 17, and Texas Southern on Sunday, October 19. Another important homestand closes the regular season as the Lady Lions host Alabama State on Friday, October 24, and Alabama A&M on Sunday, October 26. UAPB wraps up regular season play with a visit to Grambling State on Friday, October 31.

The SWAC Women's Soccer Championship is scheduled for November 6–9 in Prairie View, Texas, with the NCAA Selection Show to follow on Monday, November 10.

With six total home games, plus a neutral-site showcase in Little Rock, UAPB will have ample opportunity to impress in front of fans and gain valuable points at home. Coach Selph, now in her second year, brings stability and an increasingly sharp tactical identity to the program. With key players returning and a full offseason under their belts, the Lady Lions are poised to take a significant step forward in 2025.

Fans can look forward to a season full of competitive matchups, regional rivalries, and high-stakes conference battles as UAPB chases postseason ambitions.
