PINE BLUFF, AR – Senior Caleb Snowden, a high jumper on the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Track & Field team, placed in the top-5 at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championship for the second consecutive year. During the competition, Snowden achieved an impressive leap of 2.19 meters.

"It feels good to make history for HBCUs," Snowden stated. "Being recognized as one of the top jumpers at the Division I level is a blessing."

Throughout his career, Snowden has received significant accolades, including being named the Track and Field Male Athlete of the Year by HBCU Sports for the 2024 season. He also secured first place at the Arkansas Invitational with a jump of 2.15 meters and earned weekly honors from the Southwestern Athletic Conference for his outstanding performances at the Pittsburg State Invitational.

The Golden Lions outdoor season is set to begin next weekend at TCU.
