The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's outdoor track and field team for the second year in a row has had a qualifier for the final round.
 

Junior Caleb Snowden came out on top in the men's high jump to secure a spot in the NCAA Outdoor National Championships, with a jump of 2.17 meters.
 

After finishing first place and posting a personal best, Snowden sits atop the leaderboard of both the East and West Regions and is the first-ever HBCU student-athlete to win the first round of an event in the West Regionals.
 

The final round will take place on Friday, June 9, 2023, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Austin, Texas.
