MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff track and field team earned a few victories to highlight the day at the Memphis Tiger Invitational over the weekend.
In the men's high jump, Caleb Snowden earned his sixth first place finish of the season with a 2.14 meter jump for the victory.
Khalel Dillon finished 3rd in the men's 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.17, and Ross Walrond placed fourth in the men's 100 meter dash with a time of 10.80.
Zachariah McGowan placed fifth in the 400 meter hurdles, and Tarik Xavier came in eighth in the men's 1500 meter run.
Raina Perry finished second in the women's 400 meter hurdles, and Leyone Smith came in second place in the women's 200 meter dash.
In the women's 400 meter run, Morgan and Brooke White finished fifth and seventh, respectively.
The team of Cheriece Cope, Raina Perry, Leyone Smith, and Kris-Ann Plummer clocked a 3:48.46 time for a first place finish in the 4 x 400 meter relay.
The team of Ryan Longmire, Ross Walrond, Mohamed Soumare, and Genesis Joseph blazed the track for a victory in the men's 4 x 400 meter relay with a time of 3:18.57.
