PINE BLUFF, AR --The UAPB volleyball team fell to the Grambling Lady Tigers in three sets (26-28, 22-25, 13-25) Thursday at home at HO Clemmons Arena.
The Lady Lions were led by a double-double from Zykia Jones, who registered 13 kills and 12 digs on the day. Marlina Anderson also added eight kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, MacKenzie McDowell chipped in for with 12 digs to go with five blocks from Ashanti Butler.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Lady Lions fell in a back-and-forth first set, losing 28-26 in a game that featured five lead changes and was tied nine times. Neither team led by more than four points in the match.
SET 2 | UAPB fell in set two 25-22, digging a 2-0 deficit in the match. Grambling grabbed the advantage for good at 8-7 in a set that was knotted up nine times before the Lady Tigers took over the lead.
SET 3 | Grambling finished off the sweep with a set-three victory. The Lady Lions lost the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the set 25-13.
