PINE BLUFF, Arkansas -- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions fell 27-0 to Southern at home Saturday afternoon at Simmons Bank Field. 

Kierston Rogers led the Golden Lions' ground attack in the game, picking up 8.2 yards per carry along the way. also tacked on 30 yards on the ground.

Rico Dozier led the Golden Lions on the defensive end with 13 tackles, followed by Kyle Knox collecting three tackles, 1.0 TFL, one sack, and one interception. added four tackles, 0.5 TFL, 0.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one recovered fumble and had eight tackles in the loss.

» The Golden Lions had three players with more than eight tackles in the ballgame led by Rico Dozier, who had 13.

The Golden Lions will be back in action, Saturday, October 14 at Mississippi Valley St.
