BATON ROUGE, Louisiana -- The University of Arkansas Pine Bluff football team fell 59-3 to Southern U. on the road Saturday night.
The Golden Lions fell to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play.
Javaughn Williams pulled in three catches for 62 yards.
On the defensive side, Rico Dozier led the Golden Lions with 11 tackles, followed by Laprel Boyd, totaling one interception. JaVonn Gray added six tackles, 1.0 TFL, and one sack.
The UAPB forced one turnover in Saturday's contest, with UAPB turning that takeaway into three points.
