HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's basketball team again battled on the road, but fell at Alabama A&M 76-69 Monday night.
Khadijah Brown posted her seventh double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Kaila Walker, who had 15 points, and by
Tyler Pyburn, who added 14 points coming off the bench.
In the second quarter, AAMU led by as many as 12, but a late run before the half brought the Golden Lions to within one at 39-38 at halftime.
However, Alabama A&M outscored UAPB 20-11 in the third quarter to take a 59-49 lead into the final period. The Lady Lions did not get closer than seven points over the final 10 minutes of play.
