FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's basketball team lost on the road at Arkansas 96-53.
Sade Hudson led the Lady Lions in scoring with 13 points, her second straight game in double figures. Joyce Kennerson and Tyeisha Juhan both chipped in with 9 points apiece.Â
UAPB trailed 12-2 early on in the game but ended the quarter on an 11-6 run to cut Arkansas' lead to 18-13.
The Razorbacks got off to a fast start in the second quarter and led 49-22 at halftime.
Despite the loss, the Lady Lions outrebounded Arkansas 51-48. Juhan had a game-high eight rebounds in the game.
The Lady Lions will prepare for another in-state battle at Little Rock on Tuesday, Nov. 16th at 6:30 p.m.
