The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's basketball team lost at home Monday to Alabama A&M 57-47 in the H.O. Clemmons Arena.
Khadijah Brown recorded 12 points with 10 rebounds, her third straight double-double and fifth of the season.
Jazzeem Bethea added nine points, with four assists and two steals.
Nissa Sam-Grant led the UAPB defensive effort with a career-high eight blocks and seven rebounds.
UAPB started out the scoring by going on a 9-0 run to take an early lead and led 17-14 after one quarter.

Trasity Totten three-pointer gave the Lady Lions a 30-27 at halftime.
However, in the second half, AAMU outscored UAPB 30-17 in the second half to take the win.
