PINE BLUFF, Ark.- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's and women's indoor track & field teams are set to continue indoor action Friday at the Arkansas Invitational in Fayettville, Ark.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. with the field events, followed the track events kickoff at 3 p.m.
The Golden Lions will mark its first time competing in the history of the program at the Arkansas Invitational, which takes place in Fayetteville, AR at the Tyson Indoor facility. Â
Both teams will compete against some of the top division IÂ programs such as Arkansas, Missouri State, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, and Oral Roberts.
"The goal is to come out and work hard to get better as we go," said UAPB head coach Christopher McCoy. "This meet will give our student-athletes a platform to compete at a high level to show what they can do against good competition."Â
The meet will be streamed live online via SEC+, along with live stats available for all events.
