Softball Falls In SWAC Tournament Opener

 
MONTGOMERY, Ala.,- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff softball team lost to Alabama A&M 6-0 in the opening round of the 2019 SWAC Tournament at Alabama State.

A four-run bottom of the fourth broke the game open for the top-seeded Lady Bulldogs.

Alexandria Taylor and Shanice Akins each had two hits for the Lady Lions, who left 11 runners on base.  Tamira Chatman, Ann Jones, and Desiree Bumpers each had one hit apiece.
