Soccer Falls To Prairie View A&M On The Road

Prairie View, TX. -  The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff soccer team fell 3-0 to Prairie View A&M on Friday at PVAMU Soccer Complex. 

"It was a tough match for us.  We
had some key players go down with injuries which hurt us down the stretch," said first-year UAPB head coach Jeremy Winzer. "We have
to have some players step up for us on Sunday and see if we can come out on top."

Junior Alexis Sanders and freshman Mariela Flores led the Lady Lions with one shot and one-shot on goal.  On the defensive side freshman goalie, Trinity Taylor had nine saves for UAPB.
 
UAPB will be back in action Sunday against Texas Southern at 1 p.m.
