TULSA, Okla. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's men's tennis team recently fell 6-1 to the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles on the campus of Oral Roberts University. 

ORU took a 1-0 lead in the match but it wasn't without a battle by the Golden Lions for the doubles point.

In singles, Le'Darrien Ledbetter claimed a 6-3, 6-0 win over Price at the number six position. Simon Lewis had a hard fought loss at the number two position, dropping the first set 6-3 then coming back to win the second set 7-5 before losing a close tiebreaker 10-7.

The men's team also traveled to Dallas and faced the University of Incarnate Word and Southern Methodist University. With a loss early to UIW, UAPB suffered another loss to SMU. Aravind Vangala played a close match, losing the first set in a tiebreaker.

Jualon Greig also had a very close match as he split sets but came up short in the tiebreaker. Ledbetter achieved a hard fought victory, also splitting sets but coming out on top in the tiebreaker.

Ledbetter won in straight sets against Rory Samuels which was his biggest win of the season. Sajid Rahman played a great match, barely losing the first set 7-5 and then dropping the second set 6-3.
