UAPB takes on California Baptist University in the Continental Tires Las Vegas Invitational in Little Rock, Ark. In the Jack Stephens Center

• After a four game road trip, UAPB Golden Lions plays its next two games 45 min from their home arena (H.O. Clemmons Arena) starting with two in Little Rock as part of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Holiday Invitational.  The Golden Lions faces California Baptist University on Friday at 1 p.m. and either Little Rock or Howard U. on Saturday.   All games are at the Jack Stephens Center.
• The Golden Lions is currently picked as one of the top returning teams in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.  
• Mataveous McKnight is UAPB's SWAC Pre-Season Player of the Year selection being named to the All SWAC, NABC All District Second Team and AP- All American Honorable Mention teams.
• McKnight is one of the top scorers in the country averaging scoring 27 points and grabbing 5 rebounds per game.  McKnight scored a career high 41 points in the matchup against Colorado St.
• Shaun Doss is second on the team in averaging 8.0 points per game.
• A good group returning, UAPB have three returning starters coming back besides Martaveous McKnight, all conference Charles Jackson, and Cameron Posey.  Key returner Terrance Banyard will play a big role along with a talented set of newcomers for the Golden Lions.

Saturday, November 24
1 p.m. - Losers from Friday
3:30 p.m. - Winners from Friday
