PINE BLUFF, Ark. (April 7) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Tennis team won their third straight with a 4-0 win over Mississippi Valley State, here Friday afternoon at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
UAPB captured the doubles point as the Golden Lions picked up wins in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles play. The team of
Jualon Greig and La'Darrien Ledbetter defeated the team of Kyle Harris and James Johnson, 6-0 in the No. 1 doubles play. Then the team of
Aravind Vangala and
Khusto Ledwaba defeated John Sansing and Romello Nalopa, 6-0 in No. 2 doubles play to win the point.
The Golden Lions won the No.1, No.2 and No. 3 singles competition with Greig defeating Harris in straight sets, 6-0 in the first set and 6-0 in the second set to win the No.1 singles competition.
Ledbetter defeated Sansing, 6-0 in the first set and 6-0 in the second set to win the No. 2 singles competition. The
Simon Lewis defeated Johnson, 6-0 in the first set and 6-0 in the second set to win the No. 3 single competition to give the Golden Lions, the 4-0 win.
