UAPB ROUTS MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE, 7-0
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (March 17) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Tennis team picked up their second conference win of the season in a 7-0 rout of Mississippi Valley State, here Friday afternoon at the Alabama State Tennis Courts.
 
In singles competition the Golden Lions only yielded on point in two sets with UAPB winning all six single competition.  Sajid Rahman defeated John Sansing 6-1 in set one and 6-0 in the second set in No. two singles play.  La'Darrien Ledbetter defeated Romello Nalopa in straight sets, 6-1 in set one and 6-0 in the second set.
 
UAPB completed their sweep of MVSU with Golden Lions winning No. 1 and No. 2 doubles competition to win the doubles point.
 
The team of Sajid Rahman and Simon Lewis defeated Kyle Harris and Jordan Freeman, 6-0 in No. 1 doubles play, while the team of Jualon Greig and La'Darrien Ledbetter defeated the team of John Sansing and Rodorius Turner, 6-1 in the No. 2 doubles competition.
