Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Feb. 25) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Women's Basketball team dropped a 68-58 contest to Grambling State, here Saturday afternoon at the H.O. Clemmons Arena.

UAPB (12-15, 9-7 SWAC) had a trio of Lady Lions to finish in double-figures with
Faith Ohanta recording a double-double in the contest with 17 points and 13 rebound to lead UAPB. Nya Head pumped in 14 and
Destiny Brewton finished with 12.

GSU (14-12, 12-3 SWAC) had three players to score in double-figures with Jasmin Boyd scoring a game high 24 points to lead all-scorers. Monisha Neal finished with 12 and Shakyla Hill with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Â

In the first half, UAPB trailed GSU by many as 13 points with the Lady Tigers taking a 26-13 lead on a Neal layup with 9:18 remaining in the second quarter.Â

UAPB went into the intermission trailing GSU, 32-26 as the Lady Lions finished the quarter with a 13-6 run to cut into Lady Tigers' lead.

In the third quarter, GSU extended their lead to 48-37 on a Darae Taylor jumper with 1:36 remaining in the quarter.

An Ohanta three pointer at the 2:20 mark of the fourth quarter would cut GSU's lead to 59-58 with 2:20 remaining in regulation.

GSU would counter with a 9-0 run in the final minute of regulation for the 68-58 win.

UAPB finished the contest shooting 44.6 percent (25-of-56), whereas shot 36.8 percent (25-of-68).

GSU scored 24 points in the paint, whereas UAPB finished with 20. The Lady Lions held the margin in points off of turnovers, 34-10 over the Lady Lions. UAPB's bench outscored GSU's bench, 22-16.
