RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (March 29) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Tennis Team picked up a 6-3 win over the University of Ozarks, here Tuesday afternoon at the Arkansas Tech Tennis Courts.
In singles play, UAPB picked up wins in No. 1. No. 2, No.3 and No. 5 play.
Jualon Greig won the No. 2 singles in straight set as he defeated Alex Tiegs, 6-0, 6-0. Sajid Rahman picked up the win for the Golden Lions in the No. 1 singles match with him defeating Dillion Murray, 6-0, 6-3.
Simon Lewis posted a 6-4, 6-3 win over Jacob Organ in their No. 2 singles matchup. Rounding out the cast singles play winners in Khuston Ledwaba, who defeated Aaron England, 6-0, 6-1 in No. 5 singles play.
In doubles action, UAPB won the No. 1 doubles and the No. 2 doubles to win the doubles point.
The team of Greig and Rahman defeated Murray and Organ, 8-1 in No. 1 doubles play. Then the team of the Lewis and Ledwaba defeated Tiegs and Ford, 8-2 in No. 2 doubles play.
