MEMPHIS, Tenn. (March 26) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Tennis team dropped a pair of matches this past Saturday to the University of Memphis and Temple University at the Racquet Club of Memphis.
UAPB dropped both matches on the day with Temple University and the University of Memphis defeating the Golden Lions, 7-0 in both matches.
In their match against TU, Sajid Rahman lost to Santiago Canete in straight sets in No. 1 singles play with Canete winning the first 6-3 and the second set 6-0.
Jualon Greig dropped both sets to Artem Kapshuk in No. 2 singles play, 6-2, 6-2.
The team of Greig and Sajid Rahman fell to Vineet Naran and Hicham Belkssir in the No. 1 doubles play, 7-5
Against Memphis, Greig forced a third set in No. 3 singles play with Kai Lemke winning first set 6-0. Greig forced the tie breaker by winning the second set 6-4. In the third and final set, Lemke pulled away to win 10-2.
