MONTGOMERY, Ala. (March21) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Tennis Team dropped a pair matches to Jackson State and Prairie View A&M, this past weekend in their second Southwestern Athletic Conference Round Up of the season on the campus of Alabama State.
 
In their first match JSU defeated UAPB, 6-1.
 
Julian Greig scored UAPB's only point as he defeated Miguel Gomez-Martin in straight set, 6-3 and 6-4.
 
Sajid Rahmam fell to Fedrico Boscarino in two sets with Boscarino winning both sets, 6-4.  Simon Lewis in No. 2 singled play lost in straight set to Camilo Patino, 6-2, 6-2. 
 
In doubles play, the team of Rahman and Greig defeated Ryan Swanier and Styliouos Guonstaris, 6-1
 
UAPB fell short to Prairie View A&M, 4-3 in their second match of the day.
 
Rahman defeated Christian Waldron, 6-4 and 2-1 in No. 1 singles play. Lewis picked up the win against Sergio Avella in three sets in No. 2 singles play with Lewis winning the first set, 7-6, Avella won the second set 6-4 and Lewis winning the third set 10-8. Adam Myles won the No. 6 singles by default.
