Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Jan. 30) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Women's Basketball Team got back into the win column with an 83-68 win over Grambling State, here Saturday afternoon at the H.O. Clemmons Arena.  
With the win over GSU, UAPB Head Coach 
Nate Kilbert reaches another milestone in his long coaching career, his 150
th career victory as a head coach. 
In a contest where UAPB never trailed, the Lady Lions and Lady Tigers traded baskets in the first two and a half minutes of the contest.  
Diamond Richardson gave the Lady Lions an 11-6 advantage with a three pointer at the 7:20 mark of the quarter. 
GSU pulled within two on a Kiana Jones three pointer with 5:49 remaining in the quarter, cutting UAPB's lead to 13-11. 
UAPB ended the quarter with an 8-5 run to take a 21-16 lead into the second quarter. 
The Lady Lions extended their lead to 40-19 on a 
Niya Head three pointer with 3:47 remaining in the half, capping a 19-3 run by UAPB. 
UAPB went into the intermission with a 46-27 lead as the Lady Lions finished the first half shooting a blazing 61.3 percent (19-of-31), whereas GSU shot 35.5 percent (11-of-31). 
In the third quarter, the Lady Lions extended their lead to much as 24 points on a Tyjha McGee layup with 1:17 remaining, giving UAPB a 65-41 lead. 
The Lady Lions went into the fourth quarter with a 67-47 lead over GSU. 
In the fourth quarter, GSU cut UAPB's lead to 73-60 on a Shakyla Hill jumper with 4:26 remaining in the quarter as the Lady Lions held on for the 83-68 win. 
UAPB finished the contest shooting 55.7 percent (34-of-61), while GSU shot 37.3 percent (28-of-75). 
GSU (8-11, 5-3 SWAC) was had a pair of Lady Tigers to score in double-figures with Hill scoring a game high 23 points to lead all scorers, followed by Jazmine Boyd with 12.  Both Hill and Bre'nae Andrews led the Lady Tigers on the boards with nine each. 
UAPB (5-14, 2-6 SWAC) had five Lady Lions to finished in double-figures with 
Ajia Richardson scoring a team high 17 points, followed by 
Destiny Brewton, Head and 
Attirah Munir  with 15 points apiece and 
Diamond Richardson with 11.  Brewton led the Lady Lions on the boards with seven rebounds and 
Diamond Richardson led the team in assists with four.
