The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Football ended their season with a 25-19 overtime win over Mississippi Valley State, here Saturday afternoon at Rice-Totten Stadium.
UAPB was first to score in the contest on a
KeShawn Williams 14-yard TD run, giving the Golden Lions a 7-0 lead with 57 seconds left in the first quarter.
Jamie Gillian added to the Golden Lion lead with a 29-yard field goal with 1:24 remaining in the half.
UAPB increased their lead to 16-0 lead over the Delta Devils with an 18-yard TD pass to

Brandon Duncan with 11:17 left in the third quarter.
MVSU got on the board with a 31-yard TD pass to Brooke Chambers from Keenan Daniels with 9:57 left in the third quarter, cutting UAPB's lead 16-6.
Just three minutes later, MVSU scored their second TD of the game on a Jarman Slade eight-yard TD pass from Brooke Chambers, capping a seven play, 56-yard drive by Delta Devils, making the score 19-12 in favor of UAPB.
Gillan gave the Golden Lions a 19-12 lead with his 32-yard field goals with 14:16 left in fourth quarter.
MVSU tied the contest at 19-19 on a LaTria Jones 38-yard interception return for TD at the 6:08 mark of the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime.
In overtime, UAPB won the toss and went on defense first. The Golden Lion defense prevailed as MVSU offense was dropped for 14-yard loss. UAPB forced a fumble behind the line of scrimmage, that went out of bounds and then
Rashad Boyd would sack the MVSU quarterback for a 15-yard loss.
Brian Handley scored from eight yards to give UAPB the 25-19 win.
Handley led the UAPB ground attack with 98 yards on 22 carries and scoring one TD.
Duncan finished the contest with 139 yards passing by completing 15 passes in 32 attempts with one TD and three interceptions.
Willie Young led the UAPB receivers with 47 yards on five receptions with his longest reception being for 16 yards.
Willie Duncan led the Golden Lion defense with 11 tackles.
Slade the MVSU signal caller finished with 232 yards of total offense to lead the Delta Devils. He recorded 52 yards on 14 carries, while throwing for 182 yards by completing 17 passes in 28 attempts with one TD and two interceptions.
Keenan Daniels led MVSU receivers with 69 yards on four receptions and scoring one TD.
Khalil Young and Adam Hamilton led the Delta Devils defense. Young finished the contest with 12 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and one pass break up, while Hamilton finished the contest with 10 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.
