CLINTON, Miss. (Oct. 10) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men's Cross Team participated in the Watson Ford Invitational this past Saturday at Choctaw Trails hosted by Mississippi College. 
 
The Golden Lions finished sixth in the event overall with a total time of 2:35:47.57
 
Louisiana Tech tallied 23 points to win the event as they finished with a 2:14:24.11 total time, while Hassan Chepkwony of Grambling State finished first with a time of 25:48.96.
 
UAPB was led by Malique Smith, who recorded a 26^th place finish with a time of 26:57.71, followed by Harlan Clark with a time of 30:20.60 for a 28^th place finish.
