Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Oct. 17) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to Mississippi Valley State here Friday evening at Pumphrey Stadium.

MVSU (1-9-3, 1-2-3 SWAC) was led by Nykosi Simmons with nine shots attempts, five shots on goal and scoring two goal, followed by Hailey Beekman with five shots attempts, three shots on goal and scoring one goal.

UAPB (1-14, 0-5) was paced by Tierra Poyner with three shot attempts, three shots on goal and scoring one goal for the Lady Lions.  Behind her was Kristen Young with two shot attempts and shots on goal.

Anna Noonan the MVSU goalie recorded four saves and recorded goal against, while Birttany Roberts for UAPB recorded five saves and recorded five goals against.

The Lady Lions will return to action on Sunday, October 19 as they will host Alcorn State at Pumphrey Stadium in a 1 p.m. start.
