CLINTON, Miss. -- Senior Matthew Agard narrowly missed earning All-SWAC honors on Monday at the conference championship meet at Choctaw Trails. The Brooklyn, NY native finished the men's 8K race 14th with a time of 27:56.81. The top 10 runners in each race earn a spot on the All-SWAC teams.

Overall, the Golden Lions finished 9th as a team. Jacob Orozco was the next highest finisher for UAPB, crossing the line 37th at 29:41.23. Justin Cooper was 55th (31:33.87), while Andrew Bingham finished 57th at 31:55.54 and William David rounded out the UAPB group in 60th place with a time of 33:24.37.
