MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Lady Lions Basketball team played their best game of the season but were unable to secure the win as they lost 66-58 to the Alabama State on Monday.
 
UAPB guard Lakendra Marsh erupted for 21 point highlighted by a 11-of-14showing from the free throw line. Forward Chigozianyi Okwubua chipped in 18 points and 4 rebounds.
 
The loss drops Arkansas-Pine Bluff to 0-14 on the season and 0-3 in conference play. UAPB will look to rebound at home against the Southern Jaguars at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 14^th.
