2016 Season:  Gibbs started in 82 of the 84 sets that she played in this past season.  She finished the season with 130 kills, three assists, one service ace, 28 digs and 24 total blocks.  Gibbs recorded a season high nine kills against Alcorn State (9-23-16), eight against UT-Martin (9-3-16),  and seven against Little Rock (9-2-16), Grambling State (10-8-16), Alcorn State (10-28-16) and Mississippi Valley State (11-11-16).   Also she recorded a season high five digs against Grambling State (10-8-16).
