Singryd Valadares enters her first year as a Graduate Assistant with the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff volleyball program after spending two years playing under head coach Chelsey Lucas at Alcorn St. 
 
Valadares will help coach the offensive specialist and handle day-to-day operations for the team. She was a three-year letter winner, helping the Lady Braves make the SWAC tournament for the first time since 2015.  
 
In 2018 Valadares led the team in kills and hitting percentage and was named SWAC Preseason 2nd Team All-Conference.
 
Prior to arriving at Alcorn St., Valadares was named all-conference selection at Colby Community College in Kansas.

Valadares received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Alcorn St. in 2019.
