Desireé Bumpers is a Little Rock native graduating from Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School in 2018. Her love for UAPB started at a very young age, and by high school, she knew where she wanted to spend the next four years when she was offered a softball scholarship.Â
Bumpers were accepted into the STEM program in her first year and quickly acclimated to the campus, faculty, and staff. Desireé was a Biology/Pre-Med, graduating Cum Laude in May 2022.Â
Due to COVID, Bumpers had an extra year to play, which resulted in her enrolling to pursue her master's degree.Â
Bumpers is currently an Addiction Studies major, seeking graduation in May 2024. In her free time, she loves enjoying the outdoors, relaxing, having fun with friends and family, traveling, playing instruments, listening to music, and sleeping.Â
