2016-2017 Season:  Bayless started in nine of the 23 games that he played in this past season. He ended the season averaging 5.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.4 assist, 0.9 steals, 0.2 blocks, and 15.5 minutes per game.   Bayless scored a season high of 18 points at Oklahoma State (12-14-16) and 15 points at Prairie View A&M (2-20-17). He pulled down a season high five rebounds at Texas Southern (2-18-17) and Alcorn State (2-13-17). Bayless swiped a season high four steals at Alcorn State (1-16-17) and three at New Mexico (12-17-16).  He also recorded a season high two blocked shots at Mississippi Valley (3-04-17).
