Jarvis Gunter enters his fourth season with the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Men’s Basketball program.
Gunther was a big man for the Golden Lions Basketball team from the 2004-06 and 2007-08 seasons.
He finished his career at UAPB scoring 754 points, pulling down 674 rebounds, tallying 154 blocked shots and dishing out 133 assists, ranking No.15 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference in career rebounds.
In the 2005-06 season, Gunther helped the Golden Lions make their first ever SWAC Basketball Tournament Championship game appearance.
Also he is a 2008 recipient of the UAPB Chancellor’s Award.
This Columbus, Miss., native received his degree in accounting from UAPB in the spring of 2008.
