Chris Greene began his journey with the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's basketball program when he transferred to play his final season in 2022-23 under Coach Solomon Bozeman. After completing his eligibility as a player, Greene will now serve as the new graduate assistant in the program.

Coach Bozeman expressed his excitement about bringing back Coach Greene, stating, "It's an unbelievable feeling bringing back Coach Greene to be a part of our program. His ability to connect with these young men, his love for the game, and his tremendous basketball IQ will be valuable for our team."

Greene, a native of Newport News, Virginia, was a standout player at St. Mary's High School and was named All-WCAC honorable mention and second-team All-County.

After graduating, Greene earned his associate degree in General Studies and continued to hone his basketball skills at Cleveland St. in 2021-22, where they advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Subsequently, he earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Cleveland St.

In Greene's final year of eligibility, he pursued his master's in Physical Education at UAPB, where he averaged 11.5 points per game, 3.9 rebounds per game, and 1.2 assists per game.Â
