High School: Played quarterback at Marion High School in Marion, Arkansas, where he developed into the Patriots' starting signal-caller and helped lead the program to consecutive winning seasons.

2025 (Senior): Passed for over 1,300 yards during his senior campaign while helping lead Marion to a 7-5 overall record and an appearance in the Class 6A state playoffs. Opened the season by completing 12 of 20 passes for 212 yards and four touchdowns in a 60-27 victory over Wynne.

Turned in one of his top performances of the season in the Class 6A playoffs, throwing for 246 yards, including the game-winning touchdown pass with 58 seconds remaining, to lead Marion to a 32-29 comeback victory over Van Buren. Also connected on several explosive plays throughout the season, including a 90-yard touchdown pass against Harding Academy.

2024 (Junior): Took over as Marion's starting quarterback and helped lead the Patriots to a 7-4 overall record and 5-2 conference mark. Passed for 865 yards during his first season as the varsity starter.

Showed significant development during conference play, including a three-game stretch against El Dorado, West Memphis and Jonesboro in which he passed for 468 yards and three touchdowns while completing better than 62 percent of his attempts. Threw for 170 yards against El Dorado, 154 yards and two touchdowns against West Memphis and 144 yards with a touchdown against Jonesboro.

A multi-sport athlete, also competed in basketball during his prep career at Marion.
