Biography

2025 (Senior – UAPB):
Transferred to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff after graduating from the University of Memphis, bringing four years of NCAA Division I FBS experience and championship pedigree to the Golden Lions' offensive line.

2024 (Redshirt Sophomore – Memphis):
Member of the 11-2 Tigers squad that defeated West Virginia in the Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl. Appeared in two games on the offensive line, seeing action against North Alabama and UAB.

2023 (Redshirt Freshman – Memphis):
Member of the 10-3 Tigers team that defeated Iowa State in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. Appeared in two games, earning playing time against Arkansas State and Iowa State in the Liberty Bowl. Helped Memphis rank sixth nationally in scoring offense (39.4 points per game), 10th in passing offense (306.5 yards per game), 14th in total offense (458.5 yards per game), 17th in passing efficiency (154.79), and 17th in completion percentage (.667).

2022 (Freshman – Memphis):
Member of the Tigers team that captured the 2022 SERVPRO First Responder Bowl championship. Redshirted during his true freshman season and did not see game action while developing within the program.

Memphis Career (2022-25):
Spent three seasons developing at the NCAA Division I FBS level as a member of the Memphis football program. Appeared in four career games while helping the Tigers compile a 21-5 record, win three consecutive bowl games, and establish themselves as one of the nation's top Group of Five programs. Graduated from Memphis before transferring to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff to utilize his remaining eligibility.

High School:
Graduated from Parkview Magnet High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he established himself as one of the state's top offensive line prospects. A powerful and physical blocker, McKenzie anchored the Patriots' offensive line while earning recognition as a three-star recruit by multiple recruiting services. He was ranked among the Top 25 overall prospects in Arkansas and among the state's top offensive linemen, receiving multiple NCAA Division I scholarship offers before signing with Memphis.
