2025 (Sophomore – UAPB):
Appeared in nine games as a key reserve at linebacker and on special teams. Finished the season with 30 total tackles (18 solo, 12 assisted), 1.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and one quarterback hurry. Recorded a season-high seven tackles against Southern University, while adding six tackles against both Westgate Christian and Bethune-Cookman. Also registered three tackles against Alcorn State and Florida A&M, emerging as one of the Golden Lions' top young linebackers.

2024 (Freshman – UAPB):
Appeared in two games during his true freshman season, recording six total tackles (all assisted). Posted three tackles against Arkansas in his collegiate debut and added three tackles against Central Arkansas, gaining valuable experience while contributing on defense.

Career (2024-25):
Has appeared in 11 career games, totaling 36 tackles (18 solo, 18 assisted), 1.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks. Has steadily developed into a dependable contributor in the Golden Lions' linebacker corps through his first two collegiate seasons.

High School:
Graduated from Little Rock Southwest High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he established himself as one of the state's premier linebackers. A three-time First Team All-Conference selection, Murdock earned Arkansas Preps First Team All-Defense, SBLive Arkansas First Team All-Defense, and 2023 All-American Combine First Team All-Defense honors. He was also named the 2023 All-American Combine Most Outstanding Linebacker and the 2023 MaxPreps Defensive Player of the Year.

Ranked as the No. 5 overall player in Arkansas by Arkansas Sports Media and the No. 15 overall prospect in the state by Prep Redzone, Murdock helped lead the Gryphons to multiple conference championships during his prep career. A versatile athlete, he also recorded 154 career pancake blocks, highlighting his physicality and ability to contribute on both sides of the football.
