Coach Rahmann Lee took over as running backs coach and video coordinator of the Golden Lions in spring of 2018.

Last season, Taeyler Porter led the SWAC in rushing with 1220 yards in only 10 games, posting seven 100-yard rushing games in earning 1st team All-SWAC and BOXTOROW All-America honors.

Prior to UAPB, Coach Lee was a Graduate Assistant at North Carolina Central University. Before that, he was an assistant running backs coach at ASA Miami (Florida). 

From 2011-2015, Lee was a four year starter at Glenville State College as the feature running back. During all four years, he was selected as First-Team All-MEC, and three of those years he was selected as an All-American.

He is currently the Glenville State all-time leader in rushing yards with 4,907. He is also currently second in the history of Division II in most rushing yards in a game with 412 yards. (9-10-15 vs. West Virginia Wesleyan)
