Omar Allen Jr., a former University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff running back, has been appointed as a graduate assistant coach with the Golden Lions, as announced by head coach Alonzo Hampton in the fall of 2024. Allen will be assisting with UAPB wide receivers.
During his time at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff from 2018-2021, Allen played a significant role in the turnaround of the football program. He graduated with a major in Industrial Technology—Management Applied Engineering. Afterward, he continued his education and playing career at Lincoln University in Missouri before returning to Arkansas to pursue his master's degree.
Originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Allen takes pride in his community involvement and giving back. He was recognized as All-Conference and All-State at Watson Chapel High School.
