UA Pine Bluff Athletics

Mitchell Smith is entering his second season as Head Equipment Manager at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
 
Smith in his career has worked in the professional ranks as well as the collegiate ranks.  He began his career in 2003, where he served as student equipment manager at him alma mater Tulane University in New Orleans, La., a position, he held until 2006.
 
He was an equipment staffer with two NFL Organizations, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the summer of the 2008 and the Jacksonville Jaguars in the summer of 2011.
 
In October of 2012, Smith was named the head equipment manager with the San Antonio Talons of the Arena Football League in San Antonio, Texas.  
 
He returned to the NFL ranks with the Chicago Bears as an equipment staff intern from July of 2014 to October of 2014.
 
In October of that same year, he was named the assistant equipment manager at Jackson State University in Jackson, Miss., a position, he held until he was named head equipment manager at UAPB.
