2025 (Junior – UAPB):
Appeared in 10 games, making eight starts at wide receiver. Finished with 20 receptions for 291 yards and one touchdown, averaging 14.6 yards per catch and 29.1 receiving yards per game. Recorded a season-long 49-yard reception, added a kickoff return, and contributed on special teams and defense with one tackle, emerging as one of the Golden Lions' top receiving threats.

2024 (Sophomore – Sam Houston):
Spent the season competing at the NCAA Division I FBS level, continuing to develop within the Bearkats' receiving corps before transferring to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

2023 (Redshirt Freshman – Sam Houston):
Remained with the Bearkats during their first season competing at the NCAA Division I FBS level. Continued his development at wide receiver while serving as a member of the active roster but did not see game action.

2022 (Freshman – Sam Houston):
Appeared in four games during his true freshman season. Recorded his first collegiate reception for 13 yards against Texas A&M-Commerce and returned six kickoffs for 172 yards, averaging 28.7 yards per return. Posted a season-long 46-yard kickoff return against Texas A&M-Commerce, showcasing the speed and explosiveness that made him one of Texas' top prep prospects.

High School:
Graduated from Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas, after beginning his prep career at Cedar Hill High School. A three-star recruit by 247Sports, Hicks was rated the No. 160 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 172 overall prospect in Texas. Helped lead Duncanville to the UIL Class 6A Division I State Championship Game, competing for one of the nation's premier high school football programs. A standout multi-sport athlete, he also excelled in track and field, posting personal bests of 10.80 seconds in the 100 meters, 20 feet, 8 inches in the long jump, and 40 feet, 3 inches in the triple jump. His combination of elite speed, athleticism, and playmaking ability earned him multiple NCAA Division I scholarship offers before signing with Sam Houston.
