UAPB Men’s 4x100 Relay Team Featured in NIL Billboard Partnership with PickinGreens Productions

1890Arena.Com Congraulates UAPB Men 4x100 Record Holders
Pine Bluff, AR. – September 18, 2025 – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) men's 4x100 relay team is sprinting into a new era of recognition and opportunity, thanks to a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partnership with PickinGreens Productions.

The partnership celebrates the Golden Lions' record-setting relay squad with a billboard campaign displayed prominently on East Harding Boulevard in Pine Bluff through 1890Arena.com. The campaign runs from September 15 through November 15, 2025, and spotlights student-athletes Jared Sylvester, Avindale Smith, and Ross Walrond for their achievements and leadership.

Supporting Student-Athletes Beyond the Track
As part of the NIL agreement, each athlete will receive compensation, reinforcing the importance of investing in student-athletes not only for their athletic accomplishments but also for their role as ambassadors within the community.

PickinGreens Productions CEO James Bunch emphasized the company's commitment to giving back and tying athletics to agriculture:

"Based on their visibility and influence, the 1890 student athlete utilizing social media can be a very effective partner in bringing awareness to the importance of Agriculture to Historically Underserved Communities."

A University Perspective
UAPB Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Chris Robinson praised the partnership as an example of the evolving landscape of college athletics:

"This is what NIL is all about providing our student-athletes with opportunities to be recognized, rewarded, and supported for who they are and what they represent. We're proud of our relay team, not only for setting records but for being leaders who inspire others in the classroom, on the track, and in the community. Partnerships like this affirm that UAPB student-athletes are making a difference beyond athletics."

Community and Visibility
The billboard placement ensures that thousands of drivers each day will see the Golden Lions' faces celebrated above the city. For the athletes, it's not just about recognition, t's about validation of their hard work, visibility in their hometown, and an opportunity to inspire the next generation of Golden Lions.

This NIL deal is the latest example of how UAPB Athletics, alumni, and local businesses are working together to uplift student-athletes while strengthening the connection between athletics, education, and agriculture.
