EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's track and field standout Jordan Pierre delivered a statement performance Friday night at the NCAA Track & Field National Championship, proving he belongs among the nation's elite.

Competing at the iconic Hayward Field, the sophomore blazed through the 400-meter dash in a time of 45.75 seconds to secure a third-place finish on the podium. Pierre's performance earned him prestigious First-Team All-American honors, marking a historic achievement for both himself and the Golden Lions program.

This milestone also underscores the sustained excellence of UAPB Head Coach Chris McCoy, who has now guided a student-athlete to the NCAA Nationals and an All-American finish for the fourth consecutive year, a testament to the growth, consistency, and competitive edge of the Golden Lions' track and field program.
