#UAPBSoftball: Golden Lions Dropped a Heartbreaker 1-0 loss on the Road Against Prairie View A&M

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Lady Lions dropped a heartbreaker loss on the road 1-0 in conference play against Prairie View A&M. 

Sophomore Kayla Adams started and took the loss in the circle for UAPB. The right-hander went 8.1 innings, giving up one run on eight hits, allowing two walks and striking out 14.

Senior Amari Broughton led UAPB at the plate going 2-for-3, followed by freshman Angelina Rivas and Allyncia King with one hit apiece.  

GAME NOTES

» Sophomore Kayla fanned 14 Panthers hitters.
» UAPB pitchers limited Prairie View A&M to just 2-for-12 (.167) with runners in scoring position.
