LORMAN, MS --UAPB men's basketball team got a 25-point showing from the bench, but fell 79-60 to the Alcorn State Braves on the road Saturday.
The Golden Lions had two players score in double figures, led by Doctor Bradley, who had 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists, six steals and two blocks. Chop Paljor added 12 points off of the bench and Zach Reinhart added nine points.
The UAPB offense was very productive from three point land, pouring in eight threes on 33 attempts. Paljor was the most prolific shooter for the Golden Lions, draining four treys in the contest.o
The UAPB defense caused its share of mistakes in Saturday's game, forcing 16 Alcorn State turnovers while committing 11. Those takeaways turned into 19 points on the other end of the floor. Bradley's six steals led the way individually for the Golden Lions.

UAPB struggled out of the gate, falling behind 37-27 heading into halftime.
UAPB could not pull any closer in the second half, losing by a final of 79-60. UAPB took care of business in the paint, recording 22 of its 33 points in the lane.
