MONTGOMERY, AL - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff soccer team fell 3-2 on the road against Alabama St. Friday at Emory Folmar Soccer Complex.

How it Happened

Alabama St. took a 1-0 lead when scored in the fourth minute. The Lady Hornets added another score on a goal 46th minute.

The Lady Lions got on the scoreboard to make it a 2-1 match on Iyanah Hicks' 47th-minute goal, her first of the season.

The Lady Hornets grabbed a 3-1 lead with a 63rd-minute goal before UAPB would narrow the gap to a 3-2 game on Ashley McGuire's third goal of the season in the 68th minute, assisted by Denisse Quintanilla.

The goal closed the 3-2 game as the Lady Lions couldn't complete the comeback.
