The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff fell 41-3 to Jackson State on the road Saturday afternoon.
Mekhi Hagens led all Golden Lions rushers with 34 yards along with 150 yards passing in the contest. Bj Curry also added 25 yards on the ground.
Daemon Dawkins hauled in three catches for 45 yards.
Jaylen White led the UAPB defensive effort, totaling four tackles and one interception. Jaden Kelly added seven tackles and Marcus Jones Jr. finished with five tackles.
The UAPB offense did a good job extending drives, converting on 42.9 percent of third-down attempts.
Defensively, UAPB held up fairly well against the Jackson State passing attack, holding the Tigers to 187 yards through the air.
