Box Score The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's soccer team continue their hot start to the 2023 campaign with a 4-2 win over North American on Sunday.
Madison Hernandez got things going for the Lady Lions nailing a free kick nearly 30 yards out. Abbey Glover also scored in the first half assisted by Brisha Musungu to help UAPB control the game 2-1 at the half.
The Lady Lions would make room for comfort after a goal by Musungu and first career goal from Leanna Saleh to stretch the lead to 4-1 early in the second half.
North American would tack on another goal but the damage was done and UAPB remains unbeaten through the first two games.
The Lady Lions get a few days of rest before gearing up for another challenge at the University of Oklahoma. Game time will be at 7:00 PM CST.
