STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- UAPB fell 63-7 to No. 8 Oklahoma State on the road Saturday night.
The OSU improved to 3-0 on the season while the UAPB dropped to 2-1.
Kierstan Rogers pulled in one catch for 32 yards and Raequan Prince added three catches for 24 yards and one touchdown.
Isaac Peppers led the UAPB defensive effort, totaling eight tackles and one sack, followed by Rylan Woods with seven tackles and one recovered fumble. Nathan Seward added one interception and Marc Flemming had 1.0 TFL and one sack in the loss.
The Golden Lions won the turnover battle in Saturday's game, forcing two turnovers while avoiding any giveways, with UAPB turning those takeaways into seven points.
UAPB's defense held up fairly well against the run, limiting Oklahoma State to 168 yards on the ground.
