WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. -- University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff got a pair of goals from Tiana Johnson in a 5-0 shutout win over Williams Baptist Thursday on the road.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff improved to 6-5-0 on the season following the win.
How it Happened
Arkansas-Pine Bluff started the scoring when Natalie Freeman scored her sixth goal of the season in the sixth minute, assisted by Briana Hernandez.
The Lady Lions went up 2-0 on a goal from Johnson -- her sixth goal of the season -- in the 21st minute, assisted by Iyannah Hicks.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff went ahead 3-0 on Johnson's 77th-minute goal. Hicks assisted the goal.
The Lady Lions kept Williams Baptist off the scoreboard and took a 4-0 lead with a 78th-minute goal from Amiya Callicutt. Johnson assisted the goal.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff added to its advantage to make it a 5-0 game on Hicks' second goal of the season in the 82nd minute, assisted by Madison Hernandez. Neither team scored again and the game ended 5-0.
